About the Role
・Food Preparation: Cutting and preparing fresh fish, vegetables and other ingredients for sushi.
・Sushi Making: Technically preparing various types of sushi including nigiri, sashimi and rolls according to customer preferences and restaurant standards.
・Plating: Arranging sushi so that it is beautifully presented and in accordance with restaurant quality standards.
・Cleanliness: Keeping the kitchen area clean and adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
・Customer Service: Interacting with customers as required to ensure satisfaction with their meal and explaining the menu items.
・Inventory Control: Maintaining food inventory and ordering fresh ingredients as required.
・Teamwork: Working closely with other kitchen staff (e.g. sous chefs, kitchen assistants) to help ensure smooth operations.
・Following Safety Regulations: Following food safety guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
・People with a US work visa
・People with professional level Japanese
・People with experience as a sushi chef

This is a high-end Japanese restaurant that has been awarded one Michelin star and is particular about its ingredients, sourcing fish from Toyosu and Osaka markets.
